So my sister is my biggest blog fan. Ok, so she is my only blog fan, but whatever.
Today happens to be her birthday.

My trusty bike is so rusty, but it gets so much use here. I know one day I will really miss this commute!

Forever, I have been meaning to document a normal day, but I get bogged down with my normal day stuff and forget to document. So I think I will just make it a series.
Here goes….
I love the clouds here in the Bahamas. There are so many different kinds of clouds in the sky at all times.
These clouds look like what I think of when I picture Heaven.
Then in the other direction there are these kind of clouds.
Lately all we have seen is clouds. The poor wet tourists! 9 inches of rain expected in the next 2 days. On top of the 15 inches we have already gotten.
The sun will be back soon. I don’t mind the rain, I just would like to save some for the other months when it is blistering hot!
Rain makes rainbows and we see a lot of them here!
I’m not going to lie….Soccer from October until May is a L-O-N-G season. We are really proud of Jackson that he stuck with it and went to all the practices (except one). The team improved so much over the season. They didn’t ever get good, but they were definitely less bad than they were in the beginning. Their team mascot is The Optimists. Fitting, right?
The end of the year party was held while I was at President’s Club with my sister, but we were fortunate to have Allen’s parents here to take Jackson. A second trophy was just icing on the cake. He was thrilled!
We have a few months off for summer and tennis and then we go back to another season of Soccer!
Michele took me on another President’s Club trip recently. Amazing doesn’t do it justice. Yes, I live in the Caribbean and get to see and do things that most people don’t. The biggest difference is that I don’t fly on Private jets.

Our “room” was a corner suite complete with a dining room. Full kitchen (we used the fridge and the coffee maker).
Living room that we never stepped foot in.
That chaise was wonderful. It had a terry cloth fitted sheet and it was perfect for a nap after the beach.
In my real life I have to wash towels and bathing suits after coming in from the beach.
Not on President’s club! We also got to have some wonderful dinners.
The staff photographer took these pictures. Their color is a lot more intense than our point and shoot cameras!

The sun went down and my new friend, Claire, and I decided to be Solid Gold Dancers.
All I can say is it may be a while before I do that again!
The next day we went on Sailboat snorkel lunch thing. Great snorkeling and some really funny people.
We ended it with a quiet dinner.
