In the last two weeks both of the boys have had Publishing parties at their school. They have worked on writing stories, revising, editing and making them perfect.
Miller’s class was assigned to do a “How to” story. Miller’s was “How to play Minecraft”. He got up and read it to the children and parents.
He nailed it!
This week Jackson’s class had their party. His assignment was to write about an emotion. He chose excitement and told a great story of how excited he was on his birthday! Like any good story teller he embellished the truth a bit. His story was fantastic!
He was a little nervous so his voice didn’t exactly convey the excitement of the story, but it was perfect! One of his lines was “My eyes were as big as saucers.” and it was read aloud in his quiet {un excited voice}. Love that guy!
Bravo to our budding authors!
I can't wait to hear your stories!
