After I posted last night, I realized that there were so many fun things we did this December that I wanted to remember. Most of my pictures are missing or pretty awful. Poor pictures shouldn’t keep me from putting my memories down, though. Since this is a diary of sorts, I feel like I need to do a December round up.
On December 8th my lovely friend, Stef, had a milestone birthday and her husband outdid himself with a surprise party. We all went to Rose Island and had quite a fiesta at Sandy Toes. I took 4 pictures. We were there for over 6 hours, but 4 pictures is all I managed
And one of my pictures is of the pig!
It was such a fun time, that most of the pictures would not have been great for our family blog!
Speaking of family, our Elf, Scout, had to keep tabs on our boys who bordered on crazy each and every day in December!
We participated in Junior Junkanoo again this year and it was fantastic. Too bad I forgot my camera and used my cell phone camera to capture this ONE picture!
and a couple from the good ol internets
On December 15th we went with our friends to see the Festival of Lights. My pictures don’t do it justice. The thought and effort that went into preparing these boats for the display is huge!
These pictures were taken from the internets!
Some other friends were following us in their boat. The kids were so excited to see each other!
Again, we were directly under the fireworks. It is amazing, but please don’t try this at home!
The water was pretty rough, but we had an amazing captain and we were in the best hands!
I also hosted my second annual cookie exchange and decorating party.
We each brought cookies to exchange and we also decorated sugar cookies. So much fun!
Here is Viviane all gammed up and wearing her daughter’s apron!
It was a wonderful night with super fun friends!
Whew! That has me worn out already. Are your eyes hurting from all the “stunning” photography yet? Part 2 coming soon where I promise even more mediocre photography and better photography stolen from other people!
Love the pictures of all the fun stuff you've been doing!
