Every Friday Miller gets out of school at 12:30, but Jackson has school until 3. So Miller and I go on a date. Usually he wants to go get ice cream. Twist my arm. Last Friday we worked on our Lego Christmas Village. Aye, Aye, Aye it took forever. He did hang in there for a couple of hours though!
This Friday it was a little cool so I decided to change it up a bit.
We had a hot chocolate and cookies while we watched a movie. Not surprisingly, it was a hit!
Saturday Miller had a birthday party and Allen was working, so it was Jackson’s turn to have a date. He was not overly enthusiastic. He wanted to keep playing with his friends. We still had a really good time!
The cool weather was very short lived, so first up was riding our bikes for an ice cream. Of course he ordered a waffle cone. He also asked for 3 scoops. Go BIG!
An ice cream moustache and nose. He really went for it!
Then we took a ride to the beach. The wind was up and the kite boarders were out.
He got a huge kick out of the jumps some of them were doing.
Spending one on one time with the boys is so different than having them together. I look forward to lets more dates with these boys!
You are an outstanding mother and so creative and engaging for those boys! No wonder they are turning out to be such WONDERFUL young men!
